Supporting Moo

Every day, we’re proud to be changing lives and building communities.

Living with a disability shouldn’t be a barrier to achieving independence and a fulfilling life. That’s why we’re passionate about simplifying the process.

Our purpose is simple: to support steps to independence.

It’s our mission to build strong, resilient communities that support and uplift each other.

How we build communities

Our work isn’t just about providing support, we aim to make participants' lives easier and help them overcome daily challenges.

We do this by empowering individuals to achieve independence, which starts with capacity building. This enables the individual to build meaningful relationships, learn new skills and be engaged in their community.

Through our unique and tailored services, we help our participants access critical supports and programs. Our team provides individualised support to build the skills that will help them live independently.

This includes:

The NDIS is a life-changing system, but it can be difficult to navigate. Our goal is to simplify it and help everyone get the access they need to the services that will support them. We assist our participants to use their plan and funding to connect with the most suitable supports and programs, delivered by us or other providers in our extensive network.

Our impact speaks for itself. Participants and their families regularly share how our support and programs have helped change their lives.

Driven by our values

We do things differently around here.

Our values are not just words. They are the driving force behind everything we do.

We’re guided by our values of:

  • Kindness
  • Integrity
  • Tolerance
  • Flexibility
  • Understanding
  • Innovation
  • Providing a safe space.

The first steps to using your NDIS plan can be an overwhelming journey. We know how hard it can be to build the right support team around you.

We want this to be an exciting and empowering experience for everyone.

When people access support services with us, they choose their own support worker from our team profiles. Participants can access our team profiles on our website and can choose a team member who most suits them. For example, if a participant loves dogs, they might find a support worker who is a fellow dog lover.

When participants join our service, they become a part of the Supporting Moo family.

Our approach is person-centred and we have extensive knowledge of the NDIS. This enables us to help participants use their funding creatively and effectively to meet their needs and work towards their goals.

We see magic happen when participants are empowered with new skills and confidence, enabling them to make a difference in their community.

Making waves in the community

We are the leading support provider for young participants of the NDIS in the Northern Territory.

Our commitment to building a strong community of support and programs for those in need has been the cornerstone to our success.

We are honoured to have been recognised as a Territory finalist for the Building Communities category in the Telstra Best in Business Awards.

While it’s gratifying to receive recognition, the true measure of impact is in the stories from those who we serve.

For example, Sean shared this with us:

"Supporting Moo has provided my 17-year-old son on the Autism Spectrum with excellent mentors for community outreach experiences and for the development of his independent living skills."

Plans for the future

We’re actively working to offer more opportunities for our participants so that they can achieve their goals of living independent and fulfilling lives.

Together, we can empower and support young NDIS participants and build a stronger, more inclusive community.

We’re always looking for ways to create a more inclusive and supportive community in the Northern Territory and beyond.
